Create Child DAO

NOTE

Ensure you meet the prerequisites before creating a Child DAO.

Create your Child DAO by following the steps:

Prerequisites

The prerequisites to create a Child DAO:

Step 1: Go to Section

  1. Go to the DAOs page.

  2. Click + Start campaign. The Start a DAO Campaign page will open.

Step 2: Enter DAO Campaign Name & Description

On the Start a DAO Campaign page:

  1. In the DAO Campaign Name block, enter your DAO's title.

  2. In the Description block, enter your DAO's description.

NOTE

  • You can format the content with the Markdown syntax.

  • Ensure the DAO description includes:

    • Overview: Concise description of the DAO, mission, and challenges it addresses.

    • Value Proposition: DAO's value proposition overview.

    • If applicable. Roadmap: Clear timeline for project roadmap.

    • If applicable. KPIs: KPI leveraged by the DAO.

    • Recommended. Social Media Links: Links to the contributor's official accounts for transparency.

    • Recommended. Discussion Platform: Link to the forum for proposal discussion.

Step 3: Enter Committee Power Parameters

In the Committee Power block:

  1. In the Committee power goal block, enter the PWR amount you want users to commit.

  2. Optional. In the Maximum committee power block, enter the maximum PWR amount allowed to be committed.

  3. In the Minimal commitment block, enter the minimum PWR amount allowed to be committed.

  4. In the Lock time (days) block, enter the number of blocks during which the committed PWR tokens will be locked. The block will display the lock time corresponding to the number of blocks entered.

Step 4: Enter Investment Parameters

In the Investments block:

  1. From the Investment token drop-down, select investment token type:

    1. WAVES.

    2. XTN.

    3. UNIT0.

    4. USDT-PPT.

    5. Custom.

  2. Conditional. If the Custom option is selected, enter a token ID in the Custom token asset ID block.

  1. In the Investment goal block, enter the investment token amount you want to raise.

  2. Optional. In the Maximum investments block, enter a cap on the total investment token amount you want to receive.

Step 5: Enter Treasury Address

In the Treasury block:

  1. In the Treasury address block, enter a wallet address where you want to receive investments.

Step 6: Start Campaign

  1. Click Start campaign. Your wallet extension will open.
