Sentinel

A Sentinel is a special governance role within the Power Protocol that provides a safeguard mechanism for Proposals. Unlike Stakeholders, Sentinels do not participate in voting or treasury allocation but act as a control layer to prevent malicious or harmful proposals from advancing unchecked.

Sentinels can block proposals they believe violate the protocol’s rules or the interests of the DAO. Blocking requires the action of a single Sentinel. Once blocked, a proposal cannot proceed unless it is unblocked by a consensus of more than half of all Sentinels.
